Aloha family!!

I hope all you are well and healthy. I am going to go straight into my spiritual thought because one I don't have much time today and two I want to say a lot about it. In the Saturday afternoon session of general conference, elder William K Jackson talked about our native cultures. We all come from different cultural backgrounds right? Wrong. We are all apart of the same culture which is the culture of God! Before we came into our earthly families we were apart of God's heavenly family and we are still apart of it. Our culture is the gospel of Jesus Christ and that will never change. This culture has no race, no gender, no hate, no judging eyes. This culture is perfect, loving, filled with joy and happiness. This is the original culture and you and me and he and she are eternal members. There is also a scripture in the book of Mormon that says that God speaks to us in our native language. So what is your native language? English? Portuguese? Answer is none of the above. Our native language or our native tongue is the spirit. That is what we spoke in heaven with our father in heaven and that is what we carried with us into this world. My beloved family members, you are native heavenly children of a loving heavenly father. You are all apart of a divine culture that will bring you the fullness of spiritual blessings. President Nelson said it best: god does not see race! And that we live in a time where no spiritual blessings will be withheld when we are righteous. Let us love one another more and fix any wrongs that we may have committed. Let us commit to being more Christ like. Let us commit to become Israel!! Let us let God prevail!! I love you all and pray for you always.

Aloha,

Elder Nawahine
